America’s Ethanolic in Chief, USDA Secretary Mike Johanns said sugar farmers are not likely to be able depend on the old price support programs they have been for decades, and they should consider ethanol.
 
According to Johanns, the 2007 farm bill will have some goodies for incentivizing sugarcane and sugarbeets into a commercially viable feedstock for ethanol.
