What percentage of U.S. and EU transportation fuels comes from biomass?

As of 2006, less than two percent of U.S. transportation fuel and one percent of the EU’s transportation fuel came from biomass, “despite the fact that almost one-fifth of U.S. corn and two-thirds of EU rapeseeds are processed, respectively, into ethanol and biodiesel.”
